Do you remember The Buckinghams? They were a band from Chicago and when you weren’t listening to

The Buckinghams 1966
those great 45′s like “Kind Of A Drag”, “Don’t You Care”, and “Susan” you might have caught them on TV or if you were very lucky, you saw them in concert. They are back! They have released a new CD on the FUEL label called “Reaching Back” and it is GREAT! First rate performances, writing and arranging await you on this disc. I liked one cut so much, “The Autumn Of My Life”, I’ve added it to our play list. Check out their website at http://www.thebuckinghams.com/home.html for tour information, bio’s, great photos (old and new) and best of all – you can buy this new CD from them. I encourage you to support the artists we play, especially if they are still performing. You WON’T be disappointed, the Buckinghams sound better than ever!

My husband and I heard the Buckingham’s Friday, Oct 10th at Ramshead, Annapolis, MD. I fell in love with them all over again. We bought the new CD and I can’t stop playing it. Infact, my husband was working at his farm and I pulled in the driveway with all windows down..and cranked up “Kind of a Drag”. He said he could hear me a mile away! Thanks to Carl and his great band of friends..they still make terrific music. Can’t wait to see them again. C

My passion for The Buckinghams began in the 60′s as I was a child, and my father took me to the “diner”. He told me to play anything I chose on the jukebox and all I really wanted to hear was “Kind of a Drag”. Til today, that passion continues along with the changes of our lives!

I think they are great now but I miss Denny Tufano singing with them. Best of luck to you Buckinghams.
